Turnaround is the production period for a confirmed, artwork-ready job. Delivery or transit occurs after dispatch. Keeping those stages separate helps campaign teams plan responsibly around a deadline.
UK campaign print reminder
This guide is designed for UK print buyers. It does not replace election, advertising, planning or legal advice for a particular location, election or campaign.
What the working-day turnaround means
A working-day turnaround is measured against the production option selected on the product page. The estimated dispatch date skips weekends. Bank holidays, artwork queries and unusual specifications may affect the actual schedule.
Artwork approval comes first
Where artwork is required, the job needs a usable file and any needed approval before production can begin. Uploading a file does not mean it has automatically been approved or sent into production.
Dispatch is not delivery arrival
A dispatch estimate tells you when the item is expected to leave production. It does not guarantee a delivery date. Check the delivery information at checkout and avoid advertising an arrival date that has not been confirmed.
When to request a quote
Ask for a quote if the job has a fixed deadline, unusual finishing or a delivery requirement outside the standard product options. This gives the team an opportunity to confirm whether the requested plan is realistic.
