What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We may also use similar browser technologies, including local storage, to remember information that helps the shop work reliably.
Essential technologies
Some technologies are needed for core functions such as keeping items in your basket, progressing through checkout, protecting accounts and forms, and remembering your cookie preference. These are used because they are necessary to provide the service you ask us for and cannot be switched off through our consent controls.
Optional analytics
If you choose analytics, we may use configured measurement tools, such as Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site and improve the ordering experience. These tools are not loaded unless you have opted in and analytics has been enabled for the website.
Marketing technologies
Marketing technologies are optional. If we add advertising measurement or similar tools in future, they will only be used where you have chosen the relevant preference. We do not use the cookie notice to make optional tracking mandatory for ordering from Election Printing.
Managing your choices
When the cookie notice appears, you can accept all optional technologies, reject them, or select individual preferences. You can also manage or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Removing Election Printing site data in your browser will cause the notice to appear again on your next visit.
UK guidance and updates
The UK Information Commissioner's Office explains the rules for cookies and similar technologies, including the need for clear information and consent for non-essential uses. You can read the current guidance on the ICO website.
We may update this policy as the website or its technologies change. This policy should be reviewed alongside the business's live configuration and legal circumstances before launch. For questions, contact sales@electionprinting.co.uk.
