Question 1

How do I order election printing online?

Accepted Answer

Choose a product, select the available quantity and specifications, then add it to your basket. At checkout you can review your order, enter delivery details and pay securely. For a product or quantity that is not listed, request a tailored quote instead.

Question 2

Are prices shown including VAT?

Accepted Answer

The site has an Ex. VAT / Inc. VAT toggle in the top bar. Prices are shown excluding VAT by default, and you can switch the display before adding products to your basket. Your checkout summary shows the applicable VAT and final total clearly.

Question 3

Is delivery included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Where delivery is included, it is shown clearly during the ordering journey. Always check the order summary before payment for the final product, VAT and delivery totals.

Question 4

Can I order a quantity that is not listed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use the quote form and tell us the product, quantity, size and any important deadline. We will review the available options and provide a tailored quote before you decide whether to go ahead.

Question 5

Can I order several campaign products together?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add each configured product to your basket and review the combined order at checkout. For a mixed campaign pack or a more complex requirement, send us a quote request so we can price the job accurately.

Question 6

Can I order again using a previous specification?

Accepted Answer

Signed-in customers can view previous orders in their account. Reorders begin as a new order using current prices; you will be able to confirm the specification and choose whether to supply new artwork.

Question 7

Which artwork file types can I upload?

Accepted Answer

The artwork workflow supports PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, JPG/JPEG and TIFF files. A print-ready PDF is normally the most straightforward option for production. Uploads are linked to your order and are not publicly accessible.

Question 8

What is bleed and why do I need it?

Accepted Answer

Bleed is extra artwork that extends beyond the finished trim edge. It prevents unwanted white edges after trimming. Where applicable, allow 3mm bleed and keep important text or logos safely inside the final trim area.

Question 9

Should my artwork use CMYK?

Accepted Answer

CMYK is the preferred colour mode for print. Files supplied in RGB can look different once printed, so convert artwork to CMYK where possible and check any important brand colours before upload.

Question 10

Can you check my artwork?

Accepted Answer

Uploaded artwork is reviewed manually as part of the order workflow. We can identify obvious production issues where possible, but this is not an automated technical preflight service and customers remain responsible for the content and final approval of their artwork.

Question 11

What happens if my artwork needs changes?

Accepted Answer

Your order will show an Artwork Changes Required status and we will provide a customer-facing note explaining what needs attention. You can upload a revised version from your order area; previous versions are retained for the order record.

Question 12

Do you provide design services?

Accepted Answer

If you need help beyond preparing an existing file, use the quote form to explain the requirement. We can review the brief and confirm the available options before any work is agreed.

Question 13

How quickly can my election printing be produced?

Accepted Answer

Available production services are shown on the individual product page. Timing depends on the product, quantity, material and finishing selected. The displayed date is an estimated dispatch date, not a guaranteed delivery-arrival date.

Question 14

When does production start?

Accepted Answer

For artwork-required products, production begins only after payment is confirmed and the required artwork has been approved. This helps ensure the version sent to production is the correct one.

Question 15

What does the 2pm processing cut-off mean?

Accepted Answer

Some product pages show the next 2pm processing cut-off. Orders received after the cut-off, or on a non-working day, may move to the next available working-day processing window. The selected service determines the estimated dispatch date.

Question 16

Do you deliver across the UK?

Accepted Answer

Election Printing is set up for UK delivery. The delivery information shown during checkout applies to your order; if a destination or requirement needs a bespoke arrangement, request a quote before ordering.

Question 17

Will I receive dispatch information?

Accepted Answer

When an order is dispatched, the customer-facing status is updated and the relevant dispatch information is sent to the email address used for the order. Tracking details are shown where they are available.

Question 18

Can you guarantee a delivery date?

Accepted Answer

We do not promise a delivery-arrival date unless one is explicitly confirmed for your order. Production times and dispatch estimates are separate from courier transit time, and both should be considered when planning a campaign deadline.

Question 19

Do I need an account to place an order?

Accepted Answer

An account makes it easier to view orders, invoices, artwork status and future reorders. The available checkout options guide you through the appropriate route for your order.

Question 20

Where can I see my order status?

Accepted Answer

Sign in to your Election Printing account and open the relevant order. Customer statuses are written in plain language, such as Order Received, Artwork Review, In Production and Dispatched.

Question 21

Can I download an invoice?

Accepted Answer

Paid orders have an invoice available from the relevant order in your account. The invoice contains the order and payment details needed for your records.

Question 22

How do I upload artwork after I have ordered?

Accepted Answer

Open the relevant order in your account and use the artwork area to upload a file or a revised version. The file is linked to the correct product and order item.

Question 23

Can I change or cancel an order?

Accepted Answer

Contact us as soon as possible using the order details or the contact page. Whether a change or cancellation can be made depends on the order status, artwork approval and whether production has already begun.

Question 24

Who can I contact for help?

Accepted Answer

For product, order and artwork questions, contact sales@electionprinting.co.uk or use the contact form. For a custom specification, please use the quote form so the team has the right information to assess it.
